Pre-launch draft. These terms cover only this waitlist website, not the Shivra product (which isn’t live yet). They’re placeholder copy pending review by legal counsel before launch. Bracketed items are still to be confirmed.

1. About these terms

This website at shivra.in is a pre-launch page operated by Shivra (“we”, “us”). By using the site or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

2. What the site is right now

Today the site does one thing: it lets you join a waitlist to be notified when Shivra opens. There are no user accounts, no reading or writing features, and no payments on this site yet. Everything described on the page as “in build” or “on the roadmap” is a statement of what we intend to build — not a feature that exists today or a promise that it will ship in any particular form or timeframe.

3. Joining the waitlist

  • Please use a valid email address that is yours.
  • Joining the waitlist does not create an account and does not guarantee access to Shivra, a place in any “wave,” or a Founding 50 spot. The Founding 50 is limited to 50 writers and is allocated at our discretion.
  • Don’t submit other people’s details, or use the forms to spam or abuse the service.

4. The Founding 50

Applying as a founding writer registers your interest. Selection, the perks described on the home page, and the program’s final terms will be confirmed in writing if and when we invite you. We may change or withdraw the program before it formally launches.

5. Intellectual property

The Shivra name, logo, page copy, and design are owned by Shivra and may not be copied or reused without permission. The sample book titles and author names shown on this page are fictional and illustrative only.

6. The site is provided “as is”

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it on an “as is” basis without warranties, and we’re not liable for losses arising from your use of a pre-launch marketing page, to the extent the law allows.

7. Changes

We’ll replace these terms with full product terms when Shivra launches. We may update this page in the meantime; the version posted here, with its effective date, is the one that applies.
